Amassi

Amassi is an organization created by African American gays in 1989 in Oakland, California.

Client Challenges

No brand awareness; nothing of distinction to make the service stand out.

Solutions

At the time we were approached, they had a logo of sorts but it really didn’t speak to the substantiality of the organization and its mission. The first thing we did was create a logo distinctive enough to stand out and was strong enough to showcase their programs. The next thing we did was craft their ID collateral and business cards. We further enhanced their brand by devising a series of panel cards and bookmarks in various colors to highlight whichever program was being used as the primary program at the time.
